There’s little science involved in making pancakes or waffles (the batter can’t really go so wrong) – making them fresh is probably the most obvious yet important “tip”. My favourite not-too-guilty combo is to dump a generous bunch of strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, whipped cream and maple syrup (or honey) on top.
