McDonald’s App’s 40th Weekly Drop Adds Korean Burger and $20 Tea Deal

McDonald’s Hong Kong is celebrating the 40th week of its app-exclusive “Monday Mighty Rewards” campaign with a fresh batch of digital coupons worth more than HK$200, headlined by a new Korean-spiced crispy chicken burger and an afternoon-tea snack starting at HK$20. The limited-time offers are now live in the McDonald’s Hong Kong app, with the new afternoon-tea promotion valid Oct 5–9, Monday to Friday, from 2pm to 6pm.

For the 40th consecutive week, the fast-food giant is rewarding app users with rotating discounts and bundles. This week’s centrepiece is the new Korean Spicy Butter Crispy Chicken Thigh Burger. It features an oversized chicken thigh fillet, fried until crunchy and finished with a Korean-spiced butter sauce, a slice of pineapple and crisp romaine lettuce. App users can save HK$5 when ordering it as a four-item combo that includes the Sweetheart Crispy OREO McFlurry. The burger meal deal is available from 11am to midnight, and customers can add salted caramel mini crispy sticks for HK$12 between 11am and 4am.

New Afternoon Tea Options

A brand-new afternoon tea offering is also making its debut. From Oct 5 to 9, app users can enjoy salted caramel mini crispy sticks with a drink for just HK$20, or pair them with a Sweetheart Crispy OREO McFlurry for HK$22. The crunchy snack combines a crispy texture with salted caramel for a sweet-and-salty finish. The offer is limited to weekday afternoons from 2pm to 6pm.

More Meal Deals and McCafé Specials

Beyond the new burger, McDonald’s has added several flash discounts. Customers can choose from the following offers:

  • HK$39 value meals: Spicy Crispy Chicken Fillet Burger or Crispy Chicken Burger, available from 11am to midnight.
  • HK$39 Korean sweet-and-spicy fried chicken value meal.
  • HK$9.9 McCafé drink deal: small iced coconut milk latte or hot coconut milk latte, originally priced from HK$35.

These promotions are designed to give app users more ways to save, whether they are stopping by for lunch, a mid-afternoon snack or an evening meal.

Meal Coupon Bundles Still Available

The popular “meal coupon” packages remain on sale. For HK$100, customers can select four value meals, bringing the average cost per meal to HK$25. A deposit option is also available: pay HK$30 upfront to receive four redemption vouchers, then pay HK$20 at each redemption. For a larger appetite, the four-item meal package costs HK$136 for four selected combos, or HK$30 upfront with each redemption at HK$29. McCafé fans can also buy a HK$100 package covering eight drinks, or a HK$200 package with 17 drinks, bringing each cup to as little as HK$12.50.

Act Fast Before Offers Expire

According to McDonald’s Hong Kong, all deals are available while stocks last and are subject to the app’s terms and conditions. Prices and redemption details may change without notice, so customers should check the McDonald’s app for the latest updates before purchasing. With the 40th week of rewards now live, the chain continues to use its app to drive loyalty and deliver limited-time value to local diners.
